WIU-QC Human Resource Career Cafe Oct. 3

MOLINE, IL -- Western Illinois University alumni and faculty, current and prospective human resource management (HRM) students and Quad Cities area human resources professionals are invited to attend the Human Resource Career Cafe Monday, Oct. 3 at the WIU-Quad Cities Riverfront campus.

The event, which runs from 8 a.m.-noon, will be held in Riverfront Hall, room 103. According to Susan Stewart, marketing and management professor, the event is ideal for students who want to learn more about opportunities in the field, and for alumni and organizations seeking human resource management interns and graduates.

A variety of sessions will be held, beginning at 8:30 a.m., on such topics as career development, the future of human resource management and networking.

The HRM major and minor are available at both Macomb and Quad Cities WIU campuses. Western's HRM curriculum is recognized by the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM).
