Knoblauch Cafe Fall Semester Menu

MACOMB, IL – The Western Illinois University Knoblauch Café will serve nutritional lunches from 11 a.m.-12:30 p.m. each Tuesday throughout the fall semester.

The meals are organized and run by students in the WIU Department of Dietetics, Fashion Merchandising and Hospitality (DFMH). The Knoblauch Café provides students with hands-on experience running a foodservice facility. It is located in the Knoblauch Corporate Dining Room 239.

Every meal is $7, which includes beverage and dessert. Carry out and delivery are available within Knoblauch hall.

Tuesday, Sep. 27
Lasagna roll up/vegetarian roll up, Caesar salad, mixed vegetables, bruschetta and salted caramel cheesecake cupcake

Tuesday, Oct. 4
Chicken quesadilla/vegetable quesadilla, black bean and corn salsa with tortilla chips and chocolate cake with buttercream frosting

Tuesday, Oct. 11
Lemon chicken pasta/vegetable piccata, linguine noodles, garlic bread and gooey butter cake

Tuesday, Oct. 18
Herbed pork tenderloin/vegetable stuffed Portobello mushroom, twice baked potato, roasted green beans and bread pudding

Tuesday, Oct. 25
Chicken Caesar wrap/veggie hummus wrap, broccoli cheese soup and dirt cups (chocolate mousse topped with Oreos)

Tuesday, Nov. 1
Oven fried chicken/acorn squash, macaroni and cheese, glazed carrots and pecan tassie

Tuesday, Nov. 8
Turkey and bacon Panini with avocado mayo/veggie Panini with pesto, baked potato soup and pumpkin praline torte

Tuesday, Nov. 15
Chili/vegetarian chili, grilled three cheese sandwich and apple crisp

Tuesday, Nov. 29
Bow tie pasta with cream sauce, wedge salad, cheese biscuit and pumpkin bar
