Gwendolyn Brooks Cultural Center to Present Homecoming Comedy Night

MACOMB, IL - - The Western Illinois University Gwendolyn Brooks Cultural Center (GBCC) will host a Homecoming Comedy Night at 8 p.m. Friday, Oct. 7 in the University Union Heritage Room.

Doors open at 7:30 p.m., and the event is open free to the public. The show will feature comedians Brent Taylor and LouLou Gonzalez.

Taylor, from Lynwood, CA, is a stand up comedian, actor and writer who has been featured on MTV's "Excused" and Lifetime's "Prank My Mom." He is most known for his celebrity impressions. Taylor's comedy sketches can be seen on All Def Digital, and he can be seen performing monthly at the World Famous Comedy Store in Hollywood.

Gonzalez is a comedian and actress from Brooklyn, NY. She has performed in the Shaq Comedy All Star competition and has opened for various headliners. She has also starred in the Issa Rae Youtube channel show "How Men Become Dogs" and has co-hosted "The Roll Out Show" on Jamie Foxx's radio station, Foxxhole radio.
