WIU/WGEM Partner for High School Football Broadcast

MACOMB/QUINCY, IL – For the second year, students in Western Illinois University's Department of Broadcasting and Journalism will team up with WGEM television in Quincy to broadcast Friday (Oct. 21) night's high school football game between Quincy High School and Quincy Notre Dame (QND) in Quincy.

WIU broadcasting and journalism students will travel to Quincy today with the wiutv3 sports truck to assist the WGEM crew with the broadcast. Students will help behind the scenes in the truck and on camera.

The broadcast is part of a partnership between WIU and WGEM to provide broadcasting experience to students.
