WIU Student to Screen Documentary Film on Campus Nov. 29

MACOMB, IL - Western Illinois University sophomore Adam Colgan will screen his documentary short film "Rx: Pot. The Journey for Pain Relief" at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 29 in Simpkins Hall 220.

The event is hosted by the WIU Film Club and the Department of English interdisciplinary film minor.

Colgan is a network technologies major and film minor. The documentary film project was an independent study Colgan completed with Associate Professor of English Roberta Di Carmine. The film's story follows Colgan as he applies for a medical marijuana card to get relief from chronic pain.

A discussion with Colgan will be held following the screening.
