Naftzger selected for Centennial Honors Scholarship

MACOMB, IL – High school senior Trisha Naftzger, of Albany (IL), has been selected for Western Illinois University's Centennial Honors Scholarship, which awards $10,000 per year to academically high-achieving students.

High school students with an ACT score of 30 or higher, and a grade point average of 3.0 or higher, are eligible for scholarship.

Naftzger hopes to major in pre-medicine and biology. While as Western, she plans to participate in cheerleading or dance as well as Greek life.

In high school, Naftzger participated in National Honor Society, cheerleading, dance team, choir, show choir, band, scholastic bowl and 4-H club.
