Western Illinois University Will Present a Mixed Chamber Music Concert

MACOMB, IL - Western Illinois University will present a Mixed Chamber Music Concert as part of the Faculty Chamber Music Series on Wednesday, Feb. 1, at 7:30 p.m. in the College of Fine Arts and Communications Recital Hall.

The concert will include vocal and instrumental works by Bach, Copland, Bennett, Jones, Little, and also WIU School of Music Professor of Horn, Randall Faust. Performers will include music faculty members Julieta Mihai, Lynn Thompson, Penelope Shumate, John McMurtery, Eric Ginsberg, Randall Faust, Rick Kurasz, Kevin Nichols, Emily Hart, John Vana, Michael Stryker, Matthew Hughes, and School of Music collaborative pianist, Minjung Seo, as well as music students, Nicholas Grimberg, a graduate student from Vermont, IL, and Jose Rangel, a student of Colona, IL.

This concert is open free to the public.
