National Social Media Attention for WIU Alumnus John Moon and Senior Morgan Blumer

WIU Alumnus and WWII Veteran John Moon and senior basketball player Morgan Blumer gained national attention yesterday (Jan. 26) for their performances at the Western Illinois Women's Basketball game Wednesday evening. Moon, who is 100 years old, gave a strong performance of the national anthem, and Blumer scored for her team with a three-quarter court shot at the buzzer.
