MACOMB/MOLINE, IL – The Western Illinois University Alumni Association will host Grad Prep day for students graduating in May or in Summer 2017. Graduates can get their graduation questions answered and tie up any loose ends at this annual event.

Grad Prep Day on the Macomb campus will be held from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Friday, March 31, outside the University Union Grand Ballroom (one floor up from the food court). The Quad Cities campus event will be held from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Thursday, March 30 in the Riverfront Hall lobby.

There will be several campus offices on site to answer graduation questions, including Financial Aid, the Visual Production Center, Registrar's Office, Billing and Receivables, the Career Development Center, the University Bookstore and the Alumni Association.

Students will be able to order and pick up information regarding their caps and gowns from the WIU Bookstore, learn about graduation announcements and pictures and meet with campus representatives. Class rings may be ordered from Jostens.

Alumni Association staff will be on site at Grad Prep Day to answer questions and outline the benefits of being a member of the non-dues paying Alumni Association. All graduating seniors who stop by the event will receive a gift from the Alumni Association and have the chance to be entered into a drawing to win a diploma frame, sponsored by Church Hill Classics.

The Student Alumni Leadership Council and the WIU Alumni Association will also host Grad Blast for 2017 Spring and Summer graduates from 6-8 p.m. Thursday, April 27 at The Change of Pace in Macomb.
