Terry Wins National Broadcasting Award for Second Year

MACOMB, IL – For the second year, Western Illinois University senior broadcasting major Redrick Terry, of Rock Island, IL, has been honored with the Best Video Play-By-Play Award by the National Broadcasting System (NBS) during its convention in New York over the weekend.

WIU broadcasting students were also given the Motivated Chapter award and the Community Service Award-Best Single Activity Participation.

WIU senior broadcasting major Breanna Descourouez, from East Moline, IL, was named a finalist in the Audio Feature Segment category.

Chapter advisor Jasmine Crighton took several members of WIU's NBS chapter to the convention.
