WIU School of Music Professor, WIU Students, Alumni, Faculty Part of Monmouth Orchestra Concert

MACOMB, IL -- The Monmouth Civic Orchestra, directed by Western Illinois University School of Music Professor Richard Cangro, and comprised of several WIU students, alumni and faculty members, will host a concert, Viva La Musica!, Saturday, July 15 in Monmouth.
The concert will begin at 7 p.m. at the Dahl Chapel, 700 E. Broadway St., Monmouth. Admission is free. The concert will feature music from Mexico, Spain and Argentina.
WIU faculty, staff, students and alumni participating include:
Mallory Sajewski and Terry Solomonson, WIU School of Music faculty; Vlad Hontila, Luciana Hontila, Jose Santana, Dominique Archambeau and Orlando Riveros, School of Music performance students; Jeff Engel, WIU biological sciences professor, and Munia Cabal, Spanish professor; John Graham, retired director of the WIU Art Gallery, and Sue Adams, retired Administrative Information Management Systems employee; and alumnae Cristina Werling and Susan Cangro.
