School of Ag Develops WIU Aggies Alumni Group

MACOMB, IL – In an effort to reconnect with its alumni, the Western Illinois University School of Agriculture has developed the WIU Aggies, an organization for its graduates, as well as for friends of the school.

The organization is run by a 14-member advisory council, which will host alumni events throughout the year and raise money for the continued growth of the WIU School of Agriculture.

The annual dues to join the organization is $25 for single alumni; $35 for WIU alumni couples and $50 for friends of the school. Membership can be completed by visiting bit.ly/WIUAggies.

The WIU Aggies will host its first social event, from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 12 on the Governor's Lawn at the Illinois State Fair. Free appetizers and a cash bar will be available, and past, present and future Leathernecks are invited.
