Panel Discussion on Charlottesville Set for Sept. 19 at Western

MACOMB, IL – A roundtable discussion, "Making Sense of Charlottesville: When Social Responsibility and Historical Memory Collide," will be held from 4-5 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 19 in the University Union's Sandburg Theatre.

The panelists include History Professor Tim Roberts, History Professor Peter Cole, Centennial Honors College Associate Director F. Erik Brooks and School of Law Enforcement and Justice Administration Chair Jill Myers.

The event, open free to the public, will include discussion on the recent protests and violence in Charlottesville, VA. An opportunity for audience questions and answers will follow the discussion.
