MACOMB, IL -- To continue efforts to maintain positive lines of communication, Western Illinois University President Jack Thomas will hold a series of brown bag lunch conversations during the academic year. The inaugural President's Brown Bag Lunch Conversation will be held from noon-1 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 19 in the University Union Brattain Lounge.

The lunch event is intended for anyone who wants to participate in a dialogue with Thomas and take the opportunity to ask questions.

"This provides us with another informal opportunity to communicate," Thomas said. "I invite members of our University community, as well as our local community, to bring their lunch to the Brattain Lounge on Oct. 19 and enjoy a casual hour of conversation and fellowship."
