Jack Weaver Obituary

MACOMB, IL -- A celebration of life for retired Western Illinois University Building Services Worker Jack Weaver will be held from 2:30-5:30 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 5 at the Spotlight Event Center, 102 East Market St. Colchester. Weaver, 72, passed away Oct. 21 in Ocala, FL.
Weaver joined the WIU Physical Plant (now Facilities Management) staff as a building service worker in 1975, retiring in 2003 after 28 years of service.
He is survived by his wife, Frances; two sons, Gunthar and Travis; two stepsons Loren Gillum and Harold Gillum; three stepdaughters, Rose Arnold, Lindy Leach and TeraLea Johnson; three brothers; one sister; 21 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Cremation rites were accorded. A celebration of life was also held in Ocala on Oct. 29.
