Extended Office Hours Jan. 14-15: Spring Semester Begins Jan. 16

MACOMB, IL -- Beginning Sunday, Jan. 14, several service areas at Western Illinois University will have extended hours in preparation for the Spring 2018 semester, which begins with 8 a.m. classes Tuesday, Jan. 16. The University will be closed Monday, Jan. 15 in observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day.

Residence halls re-open at noon Sunday, Jan. 14. The University Bookstore hours are noon-5 p.m. and the Union Service Center hours are 10:30 a.m.-6 p.m. The University Union is open 8 a.m.-10 p.m. (building). Burger King will be closed. University Housing and Dining Services offices, located in Seal Hall (first floor front office), is open from noon-4 p.m. The Student Recreation Center is open noon-11 p.m. Admissions (Sherman Hall) will be open from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Go West buses will run all regular Sunday routes and schedules.

On Monday, Jan. 15, the University Bookstore is open noon-5 p.m. and Burger King is open 10 a.m.-3 p.m. (Union building, 10 a.m.-5:30 p.m.). University Housing and Dining Services and Student Development are open 10 a.m.-2 p.m.; the SRC is open 10 a.m.-11 p.m. Admissions will be open from 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Go West buses will run regular routes and schedules, with the exception of Routes 1-3.
