Guest Recital Saturday at Western

MACOMB, IL -- The Western Illinois University School of Music will present a guest recital, featuring Amy Catron, concert cellist and professor at Millikin University School of Music, at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 10 in the College of Fine Arts and Communication (COFAC) Recital Hall.

Catron is currently principal cellist with Sinfonia da Camera and Millikin-Decatur Symphony and assistant principal with Illinois Symphony and Illinois Chamber Orchestras. She will perform "Suite No. 6 in D Major," by Johann Sebastian Bach; "Particle I," by Robert Chumley; and "Suite for Solo Cello," by Gaspar Cassado.
