'Music of Our Time' at WIU March 3

MACOMB, IL – The Western Illinois University Choirs will present "Music of our Time," at 7:30 p.m. Saturday March 3 in the College of Fine Arts and Communication Recital Hall.

The event will feature performances by the University Singers, conducted by Music Professor James Stegall, and the WIU Concert Choir, conducted by Music Instructor Jason Hawkins.

The concert is open free to the public and will feature a repertoire selected from the 20th and 21st centuries. The concert includes informative demonstrations and will include works by Ives, Britten, Whitacre, Bernstein, Gjeilo and Shearing.
