Chamber Orchestra Concert March 8 in COFAC Recital Hall

MACOMB, IL -- The Western Illinois University School of Music will present a Chamber Orchestra Concert at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, March 8 in the College of Fine Arts and Communication (COFAC) Recital Hall.

The Chamber Orchestra, conducted by Director of Orchestral Activities Richard Hughey, will perform works by Michael Praetorius, Antonio Vivaldi, Albert Roussel and Edvard Grieg. The performance will also feature student soloists Erik Ghukasyan, violin, a junior music major from Mexico; Vlad Hontila, violin, a senior music major from Romania and graduate assistant conductor José Santana.

The concert is open free to the public.
