From the Illinois Department of Transportation: U.S. 34 Road Closure Begins April 16

From the Illinois Department of Transportation:

GALESBURG, IL -- The Illinois Department of Transportation announces that U.S. 34 will be closed for construction from Illinois 164 (east of Monmouth) to Main Street in Galesburg beginning Monday, April 16 through October. All traffic from Monmouth to Galesburg will be detoured to Illinois 164.

Construction includes bridge repair, drainage improvements, pavement patching and resurfacing.
