John H. Herbster Obituary

MACOMB, IL – Funeral services for retired Western Illinois University automotive mechanic John H. Herbster, of Rushville, IL, will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, April 20 at the Wood Funeral Home in Rushville.
Herbster passed away Monday, April 16, in Rushville. A visitation will be held from 5-7 p.m. Thursday, April 19 at the funeral home, with a prayer service at the conclusion.
Herbster was hired at WIU in October 1978 and retired in March 1999.
Surviving are six children; 10 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren and one sister.
