​Riebling, James Named Advisors of the Month for March, April

MACOMB, IL – Andrea Riebling, an academic advisor in the College of Business and Technology at Western Illinois University, has been named the Advisor of the Month for March. Anna James, also an academic advisor in the College of Business and Technology, has been named the Advisor of the Month for April.

Riebling was nominated for the honor by multiple students.

"Andrea is very knowledgeable, resourceful and energetic," one student said. "She always is able to answer my questions, because if she doesn't have the answer on the tip of her tongue, she finds out the answer and gets back to me quickly."

James was also nominated for the honor by multiple students.

"She has that perfect (combination) of letting me choose my own path for my education, and helping me and guiding me to stay on track," one of the students said. "Every time I
meet or speak with her, I always felt that I've have been helped the best I could have been."

Each month a WIU advisor will be honored with a certificate and trophy. Award winners are decided by a committee that considers the applications each month.
