Society for Human Resource Management Hosts Networking Event

MOLINE- The Western Illinois University-Quad Cities student chapter of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) held its annual HR Alumni Reunion and Student Networking Event in May at the River House Bar and Grill in Moline.

More than 20 current students mingled with alumni to learn about internships and jobs in the human resources field.

The event also included a "speed networking" activity, in which each student quickly met one alumni before moving on to the next.

Certificates of recognition were provided to the 2017-2018 organization officers, and the new officers for Fall 2018 were announced.

Appetizers and soft drinks were provided compliments of WIU-QC SHRM.
