EOA Director Interviews Set

MACOMB/MOLINE, IL - - Western Illinois University Director of the Office of Equal Opportunity and Access interviews have been set for Thursday, May 24 and Tuesday, May 29.

Stephanie Kinkaid, Title IX and Title VI coordinator at Monmouth College, will be on the Macomb campus May 24, and an open session will be held from 11-11:50 a.m. in the University Union Capitol Rooms. An open session with Kinkaid will be held on the WIU Quad Cities campus Friday, May 25 from 10-10:50 a.m. in QC Complex 1418.

Chocoletta Simpson, Title IX and Affirmative Action coordinator at Arkansas State University in Jonesboro, AR, will be on the Macomb campus May 29, and an open session will be held from 3-3:50 p.m. in the University Union Capitol Rooms. An open session with Simpson will be held on the WIU QC campus Wednesday, May 30 from 9-9:50 a.m. in QC Complex 1418.

Kinkaid has served as Title IX and Title VI coordinator at Monmouth College since 2016. Previously, she was the assistant director (2014-16) and program coordinator (2011-14) of the Wackerle Career and Leadership Program and administrative assistant to the Vice President for Student Life, all at Monmouth (2007-11). She has also served as executive director of Cameron Christian Care Center in Cameron, IL (2006-07); residential coordinator/case manager of Bridgeway in Galesburg, IL (2001-06); executive/center director of Kindercare in Sleepy Hollow, IL, and First Friends Daycare in Genoa, IL (1999-2001); and Parents as Teachers director/preschool teacher for the Northeast Nodaway school district in Parnell, MO (1997-99).

Kinkaid received her bachelor's degree in public relations from Illinois State University and her master's degree in college student personnel from WIU.

Simpson has served as Title IX and Affirmative Action coordinator at Arkansas State University since 2016. Since 2014, she has been the HEH teaching assistant for the online Master of Public Administration (MPA) program at Arkansas State. Prior to that, she served as the city planner for Jonesboro (2015-16) and the administrative assistant for the Iberiabank Mortgage Company (2014-15).

Simpson received her bachelor's degree in business administration and her master's degree in public administration from Arkansas State University.

The director of the office of Equal Opportunity and Access reports to the president of the University and is responsible for the implementation of all Affirmative Action/Equal Opportunity policies and programs.
