Summer Music Institute Concerts to be Streamed Live

MACOMB, IL - The final concerts for the Western Illinois University Summer Music Institute will be live streamed live at the conclusion of each camp. Two of the sessions will be recorded and broadcast at a later date.

The Summer Music Institute offers a variety of day camps and resident camps for band and choir students.

The final concerts will be streamed live through the WIU School of Music YouTube Channel at bit.ly/2t9KeqK, and the WIU School of Music Facebook page at facebook.com/westernillinoisuniversitymusic.

The live-streaming schedule includes:

Friday, June 15

• 2:45-3 p.m. - Steel Band Session A (not live streamed, will be recorded and uploaded later)

• 5-5:15 p.m. - Steel Band Session B (not live streamed, will be recorded and uploaded later)

Friday, June 22


• 1-2 p.m. - Junior High and Senior High Choirs (live streamed)

• 2-3 p.m. - Jazz Combos (live streamed)

• 4-5 p.m. - String Chamber Music (live streamed)

Friday, June 29

3-4 p.m. Junior High and Senior High Bands (live streamed)
