WIU College of Arts and Sciences Offering College Days Oct. 26

MACOMB, IL – The Western Illinois University College of Arts and Sciences will host its annual College Days event from 8:30 a.m.-3 p.m. Friday, Oct. 26.

The event is an opportunity for high school students and their families to experience lectures and demonstrations in multiple academic areas and a chance to meet faculty and students, learn about careers in multiple majors and to tour the WIU campus.

This year's schedule includes:

• 8:30-9:20 a.m.: Registration and informal meetings with faculty

• 9:25-9:40 a.m.: Formal welcome and walk to class

• 10-10:50 a.m.: First class

• 11-11:50 a.m.: Second class

• Noon-12:50 p.m.: Lunch

• 1-2 p.m.: Campus tour

• 2:10-3 p.m.: Departmental visits
