BOT to Act on FY20 Budget

MACOMB, IL -- The Western Illinois University Board of Trustees will consider the Fiscal Year 2020 appropriated operating budget and capital budget recommendations to be presented to state governance, as well as the FY19 All Funds Budget, at the Friday, Sept. 28 Board meeting in the University Union Capitol Rooms on the Macomb campus.

The WIU Board's open meeting will begin at 8 a.m. Friday. A scheduled closed session, for the purpose of considering matters provided for in 5 ILCS 120/2c, including personnel, collective bargaining, litigation and real estate, will begin at 5 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 27 in Sherman Hall 205.

Other items on the Board agenda include purchases over $500,000 and the AFL-CIO Local Union No. 417 agreement. The Board will also hear reports on the Office of Sponsored Projects activities, Intercollegiate Athletics, Long-Term Planning and the FY18 Strategic Plan.
