Actor Josh Kane to Deliver BCA Performance at WIU Oct. 17

MACOMB, IL – Classically trained actor Joshua Kane will deliver two BCA performances Wednesday, Oct. 17 at Western Illinois University.

During the day, Kane will perform "Edgar Allan Poe's Tales of Terror" to the Youth Performing Arts Series, a program that brings regional school children to the WIU campus for arts programming. The shows are done for children in kindergarten through eighth grade and come at no cost to the schools.

At 7:30 p.m., Kane will perform "Gothic at Midnight" in the College of Fine Arts and Communication (COFAC) Recital Hall.

Kane has studied with Stella Adler, Bobby Lewis, the National Shakespeare Conservatory and Marcel Marceau. A member of Actors' Equity Association, Kane has toured internationally, and his work as a voiceover actor can be heard every day on radio, television and video games in spots for clients ranging from Pillsbury to the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA).

Admission for the BCA performance is $15 for the public and $10 for senior citizens, WIU employees and youth. WIU students will be admitted free with valid student identification. Tickets can be purchased at westernpresents.com.
