Alpha Sigma Alpha to host 'Alpha Sync Battle' Thursday

MACOMB, IL – The women of Alpha Sigma Alpha (ASA) at Western Illinois University will host "Alpha Sync Battle: Winner Takes All," a lip sync contest, beginning at 7 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 18 in the University Union Grand Ballroom.

Teams of singers will compete for prizes.

Tickets to be in the audience are $3 in advance, from any member of the ASA sorority, or $5 at the door the night of the event.

Proceeds from the event will benefit the Alpha Sigma Alpha Foundation, which supports members of the sorority nationwide through educational, leadership and philanthropic purposes, by providing more than $500,000 to members through grants, scholarships and awards.
