Informational Meetings for Study Abroad in Peru Oct. 24, 31

MACOMB, IL – An informational meeting for the study abroad course "Microfinance in Developing Countries: Peru" will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 24 and Oct. 31 in Stipes Hall, room 319.
 
This course will allow students to immerse themselves in Peruvian culture while studying the contribution of microfinance in rural tourism, agribusiness, enterprise and community development through homestays and household surveys. Learn about various cultural, social and political institutions shaping the country's economy and the achievements, challenges and problems in the economic aspects of health, education, business, income and employment.
 
This course will be held in Spring 2019. The travel dates will be May 15-30, 2019.
