Chick-fil-A Opening Delayed

MACOMB, IL -- Due to technology-related issues during the renovation and implementation of the Chick-fil-A Express in the Western Illinois University Union, the grand opening of the restaurant will be delayed.

According to University Housing and Dining Services (UHDS), while UHDS and Sodexo have worked to expedite the opening this semester as originally scheduled, due to circumstances beyond the University's control, the grand opening will now take place at the beginning of the Spring 2019 semester.

"We know our campus community is anxious for the grand opening, and we look forward to hosting an event to kick off the spring semester," said Ketra Russell, director of finance for auxiliary facilities. "We thank everyone for their continued patience and understanding as we work to provide the best customer service experience possible."
