WIU Political Science Department to Host Panel Discussion on Election Results

MACOMB, IL – The Western Illinois University Department of Political Science will host a panel discussion on the 2018 midterm elections from 4-5 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 29 in Morgan Hall, 101B.

The panel will analyze the 2018 elections at all levels of government. Panelists include WIU Professor Jongho Lee, Associate Professor Jonathan Day and Political Science Chair Keith Boeckelman. Lee will provide an overview and analysis of the federal election results, while Day will discuss how the results did or did not match the expectations of pollsters, as well as political science models and Boeckelman will look at state level results, both nationally and from Illinois.
