International Student Scholarship Award Winners Announced

MACOMB, IL - The Western Illinois University Center for International Studies Scholarship Committee has announced the winners of its Spring 2019 scholarships.

The recipients include:

Bessie Meyers Scholarship $400: Michael James, a graduate student in applied statistics and decision analytics, from St. Lucia.

Dr. In-Kon Kim Scholarship $1,000: Dayoung Lim, a graduate student in educational studies, from South Korea.

Francis and Peggy Davern International Scholarship $425: Ifedayo Kehinde, a graduate student in instructional design and technology from Nigeria.

Macomb Branch AAUW International Student Scholarship $500: Yin Thi Thi Oo, a junior nursing major, from Myanmar.

Redeemed Students Fellowship Scholarship $200: Joseph Adesiyan, a graduate student in applied statistics and decision analytics, from Nigeria.

WEOG Awards for International Students $500 each:
- Israel Adebisi, a junior computer science major, from Nigeria.
- Joseph Adesiyan, a graduate student in applied statistics and decision analytics, from Nigeria.
- Laura Ballesteros Font, a sophomore forensic psychology major, from Spain.
- Maria Bessmertnaya, a graduate student in accountancy, from Russia.
- Opeyemi Oduniyi, a graduate student in biology, from Nigeria.
