James Lantz Obituary

MACOMB, IL – Funeral services for former Western Illinois University Physical Plant Director James M. Lantz, 92, of Macomb, will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 7 at Wesley United Methodist Church in Macomb.
Lantz passed away Sunday, Feb. 3 in Macomb. A visitation will be held from 7-8:30 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 6 at Clugston-Tibbitts Funeral Home in Macomb, with a Masonic service at 6:30 p.m.
After leaving WIU, Lantz worked for a variety of construction companies and as resident engineer for the city of Macomb. He also served on the Macomb Public Library, the Building Commission and the Macomb Zoning Board of Appeals.
Lantz is survived by his wife, Ann; two daughters, Debra and Kris; three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
