Girl Scout STEM Program Planned April 13 at WIU

MACOMB, IL – The Western Illinois University Women in Science program will host a Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) program for regional Girl Scouts from 1-4:30 p.m. Saturday, April 13 in Currens Hall, 203.

Registration is $5 per person.

The Lab Girl program will allow Daisy, Brownie and Junior scouts to earn Home Scientist STEM badges, Cadettes to earn a Special Agent STEM badge and Senior and Ambassador scouts to earn the Forensic Detective STEM badges.

The event is an opportunity for Girl Scouts to dive into science with the help of WIU faculty in University laboratories.
