WIU Military Task Force Fundraising for Care Packages

MACOMB, IL – The Military Task Force at Western Illinois University launched the Crowdfunding campaign Friday "WIU Supports Our Troops."

Money raised through the effort will be used to fill and send care packages to deployed WIU students and alumni. The packages will include non-perishable food, toiletries and a WIU flag.  

Members of the task force from both the Macomb and Quad Cities campuses will join with WIU students Wednesday, April 24, the annual Day of Giving and Purple & Gold Day at WIU, to organize the care packages.

Donations can be made by texting WIUPACK to 71777 or visiting app.mobilecause.com/vf/WIUPACK.
