MACOMB, IL - The Clothesline Project Display, dedicated to bringing awareness to violence against women and children, will be held on the Western Illinois University campus from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Friday, April 19, on the lawn of the Multicultural Center.

T-shirts decorated at WIU by survivors of violence will be displayed.

The shirts are added to the Victim Services' Clothesline Project collection for display throughout April, which is Sexual Assault Awareness Month and Child Sexual Abuse Prevention Month, in the five-county region served by WIRC-CAA. To schedule a t-shirt-making session for a group or organization for members to make shirts for the display, call the Women's Center at (309) 298-2242.

The event is sponsored by the WIU Women's Center and the Western Illinois Regional Council-Community Action Agency's Victim Services.
