Business and Product Pitch Competition Culminates April 11 at WIU

MACOMB, IL – Students who took part in the Western Illinois University Pitch Competition will present their business and product ideas to a group of investors and members of the business community at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, April 11 in Stipes Hall 121.

Students took part in classes beginning in February and will vie for cash prizes when they pitch their ideas. The competition features 10 students competing for the chance to win $1,000, $750 and $500 in front of five judges. Each competitor has five minutes to set up, five minutes to present and five minutes to field questions from the judges. 

Admission is free, and audience members have the opportunity to win door prizes. This competition is open to the public.
