Terstriep Retirement Reception

MACOMB, IL – A retirement reception for Western Illinois University Campus Recreation Business Manager Julie Terstriep will be held from 3-5 p.m. Thursday, May 30 in the Colgate Room of the Student Recreation Center.

Terstriep will retire May 31 after working at WIU since July 1997. Prior to coming to Western, Terstriep was a legislative assistant for the late Illinois State Representative Rich Myers. She has also worked as a farm broadcaster for WLMD in Macomb, and a freelance agriculture writer and has served as a volleyball official for many years.

Terstriep received her bachelor's and master's degrees from WIU; a general studies (Board of Trustees) degree in 1988 and a master's degree in Recreation, Park and Tourism Administration in 2013.
