Phantom Regiment Plans Public Performance June 7 at Hanson Field

MACOMB, IL – The summer training camp of the Phantom Regiment Drum and Bugle Corps will culminate with a free, public performance Friday, June 7 at 8 p.m. at Western Illinois University's Hanson Field. The event will showcase a portion of the corps' show for an upcoming tour, and will be held after their final night rehearsal at Western. [Rain location set for Western Hall]

The Rockford- (IL) based Phantom Regiment began its 2019 training camp on WIU's campus May 19. The 150-member group and its 50-member staff will begin a 16-state tour competition Saturday, June 8. The musicians are men and women, ages 17-21, from across the United States.

Through June 7, rehearsals are held most days at 9:45 a.m., 2 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. on Hanson Field, Vince Grady Field and the Marching Leathernecks practice field, west of Olson Hall. A schedule of practices can be found at regiment.org/calendar/.

The rehearsals are open free to the public.
