Faculty and Guest Recital Sept. 22 at WIU

MACOMB, IL - The Western Illinois University School of Music will present a Faculty and Guest Recital, featuring trumpeters Bruce Briney and Matthew Onstad, with pianist Liang-yu Wang, at 3 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 22 in the College of Fine Arts and Communication (COFAC) Recital Hall.
 
Briney is a professor of music at WIU, and guest Onstad is principal trumpet with the Quad City Symphony Orchestra (IA, IL), and is the adjunct trumpet instructor at St. Ambrose University. Wang is a collaborative pianist at WIU.
This performance is open free to the public, and will be live-streamed on the School of Music's YouTube channel and Facebook Live.
