MACOMB, IL – Seniors in Western Illinois University's Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) program will present "A Night With Us: BFA Senior Showcase 2019," at 7:30 p.m. Friday-Saturday, Nov. 15-16, in Simpkins Theatre.

The program will feature BFA students Rose Blume, of Peoria, IL; Logan Edris, of Milford, IL; Warren Freeland, of Mount Carmel, IL; Vicky Vidziunas, of Romeoville, IL; and Paige Woods, of Heyworth, IL, and is directed by Associate Professor Lysa Fox and Instructor Lara Petrin, with accompaniment by Senior Instructor Sharon Nott.

"This is a culmination of four years of hard work for these students and the Department's chance to show them off before we send them off to be artists in the world," said Fox. "It's such a joy as one of their primary educators to see the immense growth over the course of their time with us. It's humbling to say the least."

Fox added that it has been a pleasure to work closely with these five students throughout this semester.

"What fun to be collaborating with them at their peak of talent here at Western," she said.

Admission is $5 for the public and free for WIU students with valid student identification. Tickets are available at the door 45 minutes before the performance.
