Two WIU Music Students Named Award Winners in NATS Conference

MACOMB, IL – Two students in the voice studio of Western Illinois University Professor Terry Chasteen excelled at the Central Region National Association of Teacher of Singing (NATS) Conference and Student Auditions in Iowa City, IA, Nov. 3.

WIU senior music majors Spensor Randolph, of Germantown Hills, IL, and Parker Carls, of Beardstown, IL, were both semi-finalists in Upper College Classical TTBB and Treble Voices Categories, respectively. Carls was selected for an honorable mention award in her category.
