MACOMB, IL – The Resident Assistant Council (RAC) at Western Illinois University will hold its 18th annual Thanksgiving Dinner Thursday, Nov. 21, for those in need in the Macomb community.

The Salvation Army, located at 505 N. Randolph St., will host the event, allowing WIU students and residence life staff to prepare and distribute the food using their facilities. The dinner will begin at 4:30 p.m. and conclude at 6 p.m. Food for the event was donated by Sodexo Campus Services and received during the Stuff the Bus event held earlier this month.

"This is an event that RAC looks forward to every year," said Erica Hoffman, Corbin-Olson complex director and RAC advisor. "RAC is proud to represent WIU and give back to the Macomb community during this holiday season."

For more information, or to volunteer, contact Hoffman at ED-Hoffman@wiu.edu, or contact the Salvation Army at (309) 837-4824,
