Nominations Sought for OSA Student Leadership Awards

MACOMB, IL – The Western Illinois University Office of Student Activities (OSA) will host the 2020 Student Leadership Awards Ceremony from 6-8 p.m. Monday, April 20 in the University Union Grand Ballroom.

Do you have an outstanding student, advisor, or student organization you think should be recognized for the work they do? Nominate these outstanding individuals at bit.ly/323JKDG. Through these awards, the Office of Student Activities (OSA) acknowledges outstanding student leaders and organizations from across campus who have exemplified what it means to be a leader and a Leatherneck

Nominations are now being accepted for the 2020 OSA Leadership Awards and must be submitted by PurplePost no later than 11:59 p.m. Sunday, March 15. Descriptions of all of the 2020 OSA Awards can be found at bit.ly/2SUluzJ. Nominees and nominators will be invited to the ceremony in early April.

The William E. Brattain Award* 
The W. Garry Johnson Award for Excellence in Student Governance* 
The Gordon A. Taylor Student Leadership Award* 
The Ralph H. Wagoner Award for Outstanding Volunteer Service on Behalf of WIU 
The Ronald D. Gierhan Award for Outstanding Quiet Influence by an Individual 
The Paige Skinner Emerging Student Leader Award 
Outstanding Executive Board Member in an Organization 
Outstanding Student Organization Advisor (up to three) 
Outstanding Student Organization (up to three) 
Most Improved Student Organization 
Inclusive Community Award
Advancing Social Justice by an Individual Award
Advancing Social Justice Program Award
Outstanding Community Service by an Organization 
Outstanding Philanthropy by an Organization 
Outstanding Collaborative Program 
Outstanding Student Program
