MACOMB, IL -- Artists Jennifer Bock-Nelson (Quincy, IL), Kelly Mueller (New Orleans, LA) and Amy Sacksteder (Ypsilanti, MI) will have their exhibition, "Borrowed Time," on display Tuesday, Feb. 25-Friday, April 3, at the Western Illinois University Art Gallery.

A reception for the artists will be held from 4:30-6 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 25. The artists will speak about their work at 5 p.m.

"Borrowed Time" is a three-person exhibition of the recent artwork of Bock-Nelson, Mueller and Sacksteder.

The exhibition features paintings and mixed media work that queries and examines notions of time and the landscape. The artists address complex subjects such as attachment, change, mortality and existence. Current events and global warming add a heightened sense of urgency to the work.

The exhibit is open free to the public. Gallery hours are Monday-Friday 9 a.m.-noon; 1-4 p.m. and Saturday 1-4 p.m. The gallery is closed on University holidays.
