WIU BOT Special BOT Meeting April 6; Meeting Livestreamed on WIU YouTube Channel

MACOMB/MOLINE, IL – The Western Illinois University Board of Trustees will meet via teleconferencing beginning at 11 a.m. Monday, April 6, 2020. Trustees will consider resolutions pertaining to presidential authority to make decisions regarding refunding or crediting mandatory and special Spring 2020 student fees and the FY21 student health insurance fee recommendation.

The meeting is not physically open to the public due to the Stay at Home Order that is in effect through April 30. The trustees will meet electronically, and the meeting will be live-streamed on WIU's YouTube Channel at youtube.com/user/WesternIllinoisU.

On March 16, 2020, Gov. J.B. Pritzker issued an executive order providing relief from some of the provisions of the Illinois Open Meetings Act 5 ILS 120 requiring or relating to in-person attendance by members of a public body are suspended.

Public comments, limited to 500 words, can be emailed to University General Counsel at EL-Duvall@wiu.edu. Comments will be read aloud by Duvall during the meeting. Individuals who wish to submit public comments should do so by 5 p.m. Sunday, April 5.
