Charles E. Becker Obituary

MACOMB, IL – Retired Western Illinois University assistant grounds gardener Charles E. Becker, of Macomb, passed away Friday, June 26.
Cremation rites have been accorded and there will be no services.
Becker worked at WIU for 32 years, retiring in June 2018. He was a loyal WIU sports fan, who had a special commitment to WIU football and softball.
He is survived by his wife, Bonnie; daughter-in-law, Jamie Becker; granddaughter, Carly; stepdaughter, Andi (Andy) Potter; grandchildren, Alix, Drew and Sam; stepson, Mel (Melissa) Blasi; grandsons, Eli, Noah and Ezra; stepdaughter, Fran (Scott) Zielske; granddaughters, Amanda, Shelby and Leslie; stepdaughter, Julie Blasi and grandsons, Mike and Charles.
Memorials may be made to the WIU softball team or to the First Christian Church of Macomb.
