Over 1,300 FAFSA forms were filed with the University Oct. 1 and more than 2,400 have been received so far. Those entered on Oct. 1 were entered to win $200 for books. Winners will be notified in their award letters.

Incoming freshmen will begin receiving award offers in early November, while returning and transfer students will receive award offers in January.

The WIU Financial Aid Office is encouraging all students to review their Student Aid Report (SAR) from the U.S. Department of Education and to use the Expected Family Contribution (EFC) calculator to estimate aid eligibility.
