MACOMB, IL – The Western Illinois University Resident Assistant Council (RAC), in partnership with the Salvation Army, will provide this year's Community Turkey Dinner through curb-side pick-up, from 5-7 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 19 in Tanner Circle.

This annual event is open to the Macomb community. The free meal will include turkey, mashed potatoes and gravy, green beans, dinner rolls and sugar cookies.

"The RA Council's Annual Turkey Dinner is something very important to us and something that we feel is an important event for the Macomb community," said RAC Advisor Erica Hoffman. "Especially this year, with the unprecedented times we are in, we wanted to make sure we still found a way to partner with the Salvation Army to make this initiative happen for all those who count on it and are looking for a small sense of normalcy. This year we will be following the proper COVID-19 protocols, and serving to-go boxes, via curbside pick-up, out of Tanner Hall on the WIU-Macomb campus to ensure the safety of all involved."
